I belive it was here that I read a family bit about a comment that James V made to his old friend and tutor, after a prodution of ‘The Three Estates’ at Linlithgow. “Only you Davie, Only you!” I take this to mean that anyone else makeing these arguments and jests at the Three Estates would be in prison or worse.
